Eksponensial dan Logaritma dalam Pemodelan Matematika: Analisis Kemampuan Penalaran dan Literasi Matematis Siswa

Kemampuan penalaran dan literasi matematis merupakan kemampuan penting dalam pembelajaran matematika, khususnya dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan kontekstual berbasis pemodelan matematika. Namun, sebagian siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konteks permasalahan, membentuk model matematika, dan menafsirkan hasil penyelesaian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan penalaran dan literasi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal pemodelan matematika pada materi eksponensial dan logaritma. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 15 siswa kelas X pada salah satu SMA di Kabupaten Gowa, Sulawesi Selatan. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek kategori tinggi mampu memenuhi sebagian besar indikator kemampuan penalaran dan literasi matematis. Subjek kategori sedang masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memberikan alasan dan interpretasi hasil, sedangkan subjek kategori rendah mengalami kesulitan dalam membentuk model matematika dan menafsirkan hasil sesuai konteks permasalahan.
