This examines of the figure of K. H. Noer Alie as a scholar as well as an educator who strives to promote education in the Bekasi area. K. H. Noer Alie always consistently invites the community to promote Islamic education in Bekasi Regency as an effort to develop an Islamic Society. The At-Taqwa Islamic Boarding School is the result of the thoughts and ideals of K. H. Noer Alie in shaping good character and personality for the community, especIally in Ujung Harapan. Pondok Pesantren At-Taqwa Bekasi is one of the oldest Islamic boarding schools in Bekasi as well as a boarding school that combines traditional education systems with modern education systems. The figure of K. H. Noer Aliie was not only known by the local community but was also known by several political figures during the Sukarno and New Order eras, remembering K. H. Noer Alie was active and involved in the Masjumi Party Organization. This study uses a historical method approach by looking at the chronological sequence of events through periodization. This research also uses an analytical study approach or literature study by using several literature studies, both archives and books as well as the results of previous studies that are relevant to the study being raised. This study aims to raise the historical side of the history of Bekasi Regency because it cannot be separated from the role of K. H. Noer Alie in the History of Education in Bekasi. Until now, the figure of the leadership of K. H. Noer Alie was named one of the National Heroes from Bekasi because of his work and role in the development of education.
