Penerapan Pembelajaran Matematika Menggunakan Software Algebrator untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa

This study aims to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills in algebraic material assisted by Algebrator software. The research method used in this study was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design involving two groups, namely one experimental group and one control group. The experimental class was given algebraic learning with the help of Algebrator software, while the control class was given learning by conventional methods. The population of this study was the seventh-grade students of Gunung Guruh 1 Junior High School 1 Sukabumi Regency, with the study sample selected as many as two classes VII of Gunung Guruh State Middle School 1, according to the design used which was then used as the experimental class and control class. The instrument used was a matter of testing students' critical thinking skills in algebraic material. Overall the results of this study provide the conclusion that the increase in critical thinking skills of students whose learning is assisted by Algebrator software is better than students who get learning using conventional methods.
