This study aims to analyze the effect of the inquiry learning method on reasoning abilities. The research method used was an experimental research method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of SMA in Bekasi Regency. The sample in this study were students of SMA in Bekasi Regency with a total of 80 students consisting of 40 students as the experimental class and 40 people as the control class with the sampling technique, namely simple random sampling. The results of the study concluded that there was a significant influence of the inquiry learning model on reasoning abilities. To improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities can be done with the inquiry learning method
