BUKTI PENILAIAN DALAM PENDEKATAN UNDERSTANDING BY DESIGN (UBD)

This study aims to analyze and review the literature related to the second stage in the Understanding by Design (UbD) approach, namely determining assessment evidence. Data were collected using a literature review based on research articles that discuss stage 2 in UbD. The literature review process was carried out through four stages: topic selection, selection of relevant articles, analysis of article content, and organization of writing. The results of the study indicate that: 1) Determining assessment evidence teachers can design questions in choosing authentic assessments to be used. 2) Assessment evidence such as projects, portfolios, and performance are more effective than traditional written tests in measuring student understanding. UbD stage 2 helps teachers in compiling more comprehensive assessments, thus allowing for deeper measurement of student understanding. Effective implementation of UbD depends on teacher competence in designing valid assessments and support from educational institutions. Thus, UbD stage 2 has an important role in improving the quality of learning by ensuring that the assessments carried out truly reflect student understanding.
