Peran Literasi terhadap Pemahaman Distribusi Peluang Mahasiswa pada Pembelajaran Matematika Mendalam

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran literasi terhadap pemahaman distribusi peluang mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran matematika mendalam. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 85 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika yang telah menempuh mata kuliah Teori Peluang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket skala Likert yang mengukur enam indikator literasi, yaitu memahami istilah distribusi peluang, mengidentifikasi jenis distribusi peluang, menafsirkan simbol dan notasi probabilitas, memilih rumus distribusi yang tepat, menginterpretasikan hasil perhitungan, serta menjelaskan hasil dalam konteks kehidupan nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi mahasiswa berada pada kategori baik, terutama pada aspek pemahaman istilah dan simbol probabilitas. Namun, mahasiswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menginterpretasikan hasil perhitungan dan menjelaskan konsep secara kontekstual. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa literasi berperan penting dalam membangun pemahaman konseptual distribusi peluang, sehingga perlu diintegrasikan secara sistematis dalam pembelajaran matematika mendalam
