ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN BAHASA SLANG PADA PODCAST ANYTHING GOES WITH EMMA CHAMBERLAIN EPISODE: I LOVE CHEUGY STUFF, I'M RANTING AGAIN

The purpose of this research is to categorize the observations presented in the podcast titled "Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain Episode: I Love Cheugy Stuff, I'm Ranting Again." This analysis follows a descriptive qualitative approach utilizing content analysis as the primary method for data collection. Researchers engage with the complete podcast episode by listening attentively, transcribing the content, and subsequently scrutinizing the slang terminologies articulated within the discourse. Within this examination, a total of 20 distinctive slang terms were identified. These findings encompass various categories, including 13 instances classified as Fresh and creative, 2 as Flippant, 2 as Imitative, 1 as an Acronym, and 2 as Clipping. By meticulously evaluating each slang term's characteristics and context within the podcast, researchers aim to glean insights into contemporary language usage, societal trends, and the evolving dynamics of communication in the digital era.
