Paradigma Pendidikan Seni dan Desain di Pendidikan Tinggi

Abstract


Artikel ini membahas unsur-unsur paradigmatik dalam pendidikan seni dan desain yang berkembang akhir-akhir ini. Tujuan utama penulisan ini adalah untuk mengelaborasi unsur-unsur yang diperlukan di dalam pengembangan pendidikan seni dan desain di perguruan tinggi. Objek yang menjadi pengamatan adalah berbagai program prndidikan seni dan desain. Sangat banyak program studi seni dan desain, namun pengamatan dilakukan secara random. Hasilnya ditemukan sekurangkurangnya ada tujuh elemen paradigmatik yang perlu dikembangkan di dalam pengembangan pendidikan seni dan desain. Setiap elemen paradigmatik yang dikembangkan selalu membawa implikasi positif. Untuk itu, pengembangan paradigma pendidikan seni dan desain di perguruan tinggi adalah keniscayaan.
