Peran Kurikulum Berbasis Outcome-Based Education (OBE) dalam Pengembangan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Mahasiswa Pendidikan Tinggi

Abstract


This study aims to examine the role of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) in developing students’ creative thinking skills through a Systematic Review Literature (SRL) approach guided by the PRISMA framework. Literature searches were conducted in the SINTA, Scopus, ERIC, and Google Scholar databases, yielding an initial 280 articles that were screened and narrowed down to 17 relevant studies. The findings indicate that various active learning models—such as Project-Based Learning, STEAM/STEM approaches, blended learning, and open-ended strategies—consistently enhance key creativity indicators, including fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Creative learning instruments and assessments, including Student Worksheets (LKM), Scientific Creativity Tests (TKI), and OBE-based assessments, further support the improvement of students’ creative thinking abilities. However, challenges such as lecturer readiness, digital infrastructure limitations, and low student acceptance of portfolio assessment remain. Overall, OBE demonstrates strong potential to foster students’ creative thinking skills when supported by innovative instructional design and relevant assessment practices.
