Analisis Nilai-nilai Karakter dalam Buku Teks Tematik Terpadu pada Pembelajaran Abad 21 (Tinjauan Kelayakan Isi, Penyajian, Bahasa, dan Grafika)
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the integration of 21st century character values in the Integrated Thematic Textbook "My Experience" for Class I SD/MI based on four aspects of book suitability, content, presentation, language and graphics according to the standards of Minister of Education and Culture Number 25 of 2022. The method used is literature study by systematically examining the structure, material and appearance of the book. The results of the research show that this book has met the content eligibility criteria with material that is relevant to the 2013 Curriculum Basic Competencies and is contextual to students' real experiences. The presentation is coherent, activity-based, and student-centered. Language aspects are assessed according to the child's stage of cognitive development, communicative, and free from elements of bias. In terms of graphics, illustrations and layout support readability and are attractive to early grade students. This book also substantially integrates 21st century character values, including collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, empathy, responsibility and social care. However, the unavailability of a glossary, limited evaluation, and the simple integration of Salingtemas are important notes for further development. Overall, the book "My Experience" is considered appropriate and effective as a learning medium as well as a means of building character from an early age, as well as contributing to improving the quality of teaching materials in elementary schools.
