Peningkatan Pemahaman Konsep Getaran Melalui Penggunaan Alat Peraga Interaktif di Kelas Fisika SMA
Abstract
The concept of vibration in physics is abstract, making it difficult for students to visualize amplitude, frequency, and period, which ultimately reduces their understanding. This research aims to deeply explore and analyze in detail students' learning experiences and their improved comprehension of the vibration concept following the implementation of interactive learning aids in the classroom.This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method on a single class group of VI th-grade Science students. Data were collected through in-depth observations, semi-structured interviews with students and teachers, and document analysis of diagnostic test results and student reflections. The interactive learning aid used was a simple vibration sensor that could be modified directly by the students.The findings indicate that the use of interactive learning aids has a substantially positive impact. Students were not only able to define the concepts correctly but also demonstrated a better ability to predict and explain cause-and-effect relationships between variables. Through direct experience, understanding that was previously based on memorization transformed into internalized and contextual comprehension. Student engagement and enthusiasm in the class also increased.The use of interactive learning aids was proven effective in facilitating the visualization and deep understanding of the vibration concept. This case study concludes that direct exploration-based learning can be a powerful solution to overcome the abstraction barrier in physics subjects.
