Dampak Video Pembelajaran Interaktif (Youtube) terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa: Analisis Studi Literatur

Santi Handayani, Fitri Senny Hapsari

Abstract

This systematic literature review aims to analyze the impact of interactive learning videos, particularly platforms like YouTube, on student learning motivation. The research method employed a systematic literature review approach with thematic analysis of 25 empirical research articles published between 2012 and 2024. The results indicate that interactive learning videos consistently enhance students' intrinsic motivation through engaging and contextual multimodal content presentation. Key findings reveal significant improvements in three aspects of psychological needs according to Self-Determination Theory: autonomy through learning control, competence through visualization of abstract concepts, and relatedness through digital learning communities. Additionally, interactive videos prove effective in increasing students' cognitive and behavioral engagement, despite challenges such as content distraction and digital divide. The pedagogical implications of this study emphasize the importance of integrating curated videos in learning design, as well as the need for developing digital literacy for educators and students. This research recommends collaboration between educators, educational institutions, and content creators to create an optimal digital learning ecosystem.
