Pengembanggan Media Pembelajaran Board Game Berbasis Budaya Betawi pada Materi Pythagoras
Abstract
This research aims to develop Betawi culture-based learning media in the form of a board game on the Pythagorean Theorem. This media development was carried out to increase students' interest and understanding of the Pythagorean concept through a more interactive and enjoyable approach. This research uses the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the study showed that this learning media received validation from media experts with an average score of 87% and from material experts with an average score of 83.8%, which is included in the "very good" category and is suitable for use. The trial involved one teacher for individual testing, four students for small group testing, and 22 students for field testing.Student response to the media reached 87.01% (very good category), and the design aspect scored 95.71%. Pre-test and post-test results showed an increase in student understanding, with the average score increasing from 54.77 to 82.72, and the completion rate increasing from 9.09% to 95.45%. Based on the research results, this Betawi culture-based board game media has proven effective in improving students' understanding of Pythagoras material and providing a more interesting and enjoyable learning experience.
