Analisis Minat Belajar Sains Siswa dalam Pembelajaran STEAM melalui Program STEM Goes to School
Abstract
This study investigates students' interest in learning science based on the RIASEC profile in project-based STEAM learning implemented through the STEM Goes to School program. Using a mixed methods design, this study combines quantitative data from surveys and qualitative insights from student reflections. The research instruments include a science learning interest scale based on the RIASEC dimensions and the N model. The RIASEC questionnaire is used to identify students' interests in the Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional domains, as well as the Networking aspect. The participants in this study consisted of seventy-six high school students involved in a practical and simple STEAM project facilitated by the STEM Goes to School program. The research findings indicate that students tend to have higher levels of interest in the Realistic (R), Conventional (C), and Networking dimensions compared to the other dimensions. Overall, this pattern reflects students' tendency to be attracted to science that is applied, creative, and organized. This provides students with the opportunity to develop practical, sistematically arrangement, and organizational skills.
