Listening skills are one of the language skills. Students' listening skills can be improved through the use of learning media. English-language film media is beneficial for students. When students watch English-language films, they indirectly hear/listen to the utterances in the film. This study uses a literature study method by collecting several studies from various related journals to be reviewed. The results of the study from literature observations show that the use of English-language films in improving students' listening skills is very effective. Watching English-language films allows students to understand language in a natural context, because students can analyze the use of language and make connections between words and images
