The Application of Modified Inquiry to Develop Students Critical Thinking Ability
Abstract
Abstract— The purpose of this study was to describe the application of the Modified Inquiry learning model in science subjects for early childhood to develop the critical thinking skills of Early Childhood Education Programs students at Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu. The advantage of the Modified Inquiry learning model is that students are given a problem that is solved by themselves through observation, experiment, or research procedure to get the answer. Students are given a worksheet containing a problem that solving. By applying Modified Inquiry learning, students 'thinking ability can develop because it can involve all students' abilities to search and investigate systematically, critically, logically, analytically, so they can formulate and draw conclusions from the problems they face.
