Heutagogy Curriculum for Higher Education Management
Abstract
Abstract. Industrial Revolution 4.0 has caused economic and social disruption. The current management of higher education must focus on producing graduates who are in accordance with their needs. Heutagogy is an educational approach that can be used by higher education management. This article is compiled based on the results of thoughts supported by a literature review using meta-analysis with collected 26 articles. The Heutagogy approach of educators facilitates the learning process by providing guidance and learning resources, but in the course of the learning process is fully left to students. Transformation of the heutagogy learning paradigm, which provides learning menu choices and opportunities for students to design their own learning. Higher education that produces generation 4.0 requires a dynamic and flexible transdisciplinary curriculum management. Curriculum management that provides cross-disciplinary curricular menus needs to be developed so as to enable students to develop new studies in their disciplines through a transdisciplinary learning process.
