Pengaruh Minat Belajar dan Kemampuan Diksi terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Puisi pada Siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to see the effect of students learning interests and the diction capacity toward the ability to write Indonsian poetry. The hypothesis of this study is as follows; 1). There is a collectively significant effect of students learning interests and the diction capacity toward the ability to write Indonsian poetry, 2). There is a significant effect of students learning interests toward the ability to write Indonsian poetry, and 3). There is a significant effect the diction capacity towards the ability to write Indonsian poetry. The research method is a survey using co-relational technique involving 80 students as the research sample. The samples are derive from Grade Eleven (XI) of the Private Senior High School in Bogor District with the total population of 536 students. The result of the research shows that; 1). There is a collectively significant effect of students learning interests and the diction capacity toward the ability to write Indonsian poetry of the Private Senior high school students of Bogor District The significant effect was shown by the score of Sig. = 0,005< 0,05 and Fo= 5,744. Both variable, the students learning interests and the diction capacity had given a contribution of 13% to the ability to write Indonsian Poetry. 2). There is significant effect of students learning interests toward the ability to write Indonsian poetry of Private Senior High school students of Bogor District. The significant effect was shown by the score of Sig. = 0,019< 0,05 and to= 2,387. The students learning interests variable had given a contribution to the ability to write Indonesian poetry is 5,74%. 3). There is a significant effect of the diction capacity towards the ability to write Indonsian poetry of the Private Senior High School students of Bogor District. The significant effect was shown by the score of Sig. = 0,010< 0,05 and th = 2,645. This variable had given a contribution on the ability to write Indonesian Poetry is 7,24%.
