Pengaruh Motivasi Belajar dan Minat Baca terhadap Prestasi Belajar Bahasa Indonesia

Abstract


The purpose of the study is to show the effect of learning motivation and reading interest toward the achievement of learning Indonsian. The hypothesis includes; 1). There is a significant effect of learning motivation and reading interest simultaneously toward the achievement of learning Indonsian. 2). There is a significant effect of learning motivation towards the achievement of learning Indonsian. 3). There is a significant effect of reading interest towards the achievement of learning Indonsian. The method used is a survey using co-relational technique involving 60 students as samples taken from the Tenth Grade of Private Senior High School in Tangerang City. The result of the research shows that; 1). There is a significant effect of learning motivation and reading interest simultaneously toward the achievement of learning Indonsian students of Private Senior High School in Tangerang City.  The significant effect was proved by the score of Sig. = 0,000 < 0,05 and Fo= 10,783. Both variables, the achievement of learning motivation and reading interest had given contribution of 27,4% to the result of learning Indonsian. 2). There is significant effect of learning motivation towards the achievement of learning Indonsian students of Private Senior High School in Tangerang City.  The significant effect was proved by the score of Sig. = 0,021 < 0,05 and to= 2,365. The learning motivation variable had given a contribution on the achievement of learning Indonesian is 15,1%.  3). There is a significant effect of reading interest towards the achievement of learning Indonsian students of Private Senior High School in Tangerang City.  The significant effect was proved by the score of Sig. = 0,048 < 0,05 and to= 2,020. This variable had given a contribution on the achiement of learning Indonesian is 12,3%.
