Peranan Alat Digital dalam Proses Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris (Studi Kasus SMA EMIISC – Jakarta)
Abstract
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA EMIISc (Sekolah Islam Terpadu Unggulan Metropolitan), Jakarta, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah meneliti faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemanfaatan sumber daya digital, pemanfaatan sumber daya digital dalam proses pembelajaran, peranan sekolah terhadap penggunaan alat digital serta kendala yang dihadapi dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya digital dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Di SMA EMIISc, penggunaan teknologi digital seperti PowerPoints, Canva, proyektor, speakers dan alat digital lainnya mendukung pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang interaktif. Dukungan penuh dari kepala sekolah dan guru mempermudah proses pemanfaatan teknologi di sekolah. Alat-alat digital digunakan untuk membantu mengurangi beban administratif guru, meningkatkan keterampilan siswa, memfasilitasi fleksibilitas untuk mengakses materi, meningkatkan produktivitas belajar serta meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses belajar Bahasa Inggris. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat kendala dalam pemanfaatan teknologi ini seperti adanya gangguan teknis yang dapat menghambat kelancaran proses belajar-mengajar di sekolah.
