The Effect of Perceptions Differentiation Learning Method and Learning Motivation on English Speaking Abilities

Abstract


The effect of perceptions  Differentiated learning method and learning motivation on English speaking abilities This study aims to determine: 1. The effect of perceptions of Differentiated learning methods and learning motivation on English speaking abilities, 2. The effect of perceptions of Differentiated learning methods on English speaking abilities, and 3. The effect of learning motivation on English speaking abilities.. The population in this study were high school students of class VII Junior high school in Sukabumi in 2024-2025 with a sample of 87 students taken by proportional stratified random sampling technique. The research method used is correlation and regression analysis. Before conducting a hypothesis test, a data requirement test is performed, namely the normality test, linearity test, and multiple regression. (1) There is a significant effect of Differentiated learning method  (X1) and learning motivation (X2) together on the english speaking abilities  in junior high school students at Sukabumi (Y). This is evidenced by sig 0.000 <0.05 and Fcount = 74.340, (2) There is a significant effect of Differentiated learning method  (X1) on the english speaking abilities  in junior high school students at Sukabumi (Y). This is evidenced by sig 0.000 <0.05 and tcount = 8.207 and (3) There is a significant effect  learning motivation (X2) on the english speaking abilities  in junior high school students at Sukabumi (Y). This is evidenced by Sig 0.000 <0.05 and t = 3.660.
