Analisis Kesalahan Morfologi, Konjungsi dalam Teks Editorial Siswa, dan Strategi Koreksi
Abstract
This research aims to identify and determine morphological and conjunction errors in students' editorial texts as well as correction strategies and their implications for class XII high school Indonesian language learning. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The research technique used is data analysis technique, namely the researcher uses data in the form of written tests, questionnaires, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. Based on data recapitulation, there were 105 morphological error findings and 45 conjunction error findings. In affix omission errors; 41 (39.20%), sound decay that should melt but is not melted; 12 (11.40%), melting buyi that should not melt; 1(0.90%), morph replacement; 2 (1.90%), morpheme abbreviation; 14 (13.30%), inappropriate use of affixes; (33.30%), coordinating conjunction; 21 (44.40%), and subordinating conjunctions; 25 (55.60%) found error data. The number of errors that often appear are in the category of inappropriate use of affixes and subordinating conjunctions. Based on the results of evaluations by Indonesian language teachers at Taruna Andigha High School, there are morphological and conjunction errors among students caused by a lack of basic understanding of morphology and conjunctions, lack of attention by teachers when teaching in class, and the influence of informal, everyday language use. This research concludes that peer correction strategies in understanding errors in the use of morphology and conjunctions have a positive impact and can increase students' self-confidence in writing editorial texts. The results of this research can be used as learning material in high school.
