ALIH KODE DAN CAMPUR KODE DALAM WEB SERIES SAIYO SAKATO DAN FILM ONDE MANDE SERTA IMPLIKASI PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA KELAS XI SMK (Kajian Sosiolinguistik)

Abstract


This study aims to describe the forms of code switching and code mixing that appear in the Saiyo Sakato web series and the Onde Mande film, and to explain their implications for Indonesian language learning in grade XI of vocational high schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through listening and note-taking techniques on the dialogues of the characters in the Saiyo Sakato Web Series by Gina S Noer and the Onde Mande Film by Paul Agusta, then analyzed using the theory of code switching and code mixing according to Suwito, Chaer, and Agustina. The results of the study show that in both works, 89 code switching and code mixing data were found. Among them; (1) 55 data of code switching both internal and external, and 34 data of code mixing at the word, phrase, and clause levels. This phenomenon shows the influence of the situation, participants, and topics of conversation on language choice. These findings are expected to be a reference in Indonesian language learning, especially in sociolinguistics and speaking skills, so that students are increasingly sensitive to the diversity of language use and are able to place word choices according to context.
