STRATEGI DAN RENCANA AKSI PEMBANGUNAN DESA WISATA CABE DENGAN PENDEKATAN KONSEP PARIWISATA BERBASIS MASYARAKAT DI DESA KABASIRAN

Abstract


ABSTRAK

                                                                             

Artikel ini ditulis berdasarkan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menyusun strategi dan rencana aksi pengembangan Desa Wisata Cabe di Desa Kabasiran dengan menggunakan pendekatan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat (community based tourism). Pembangunan Desa Wisata ini merupakan inisiatif masyarakat setempat dalam rangka ingin menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan baru agar bisa meningkatkan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan penduduk setempat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode riset aksi partisipatif. Bekerja dan berdiskusi bersama masyarakat menganalisis peran dan potensi untuk memperoleh gambaran sosial ekonomi sehingga bisa dirumuskan rekomendasi langkah strategi di masa depan. Dari hasil analisis SWOT yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlu diterapkan strategi diversifikasi, karena berada dalam wilayah kekuatan dan ancaman. Yaitu dengan memanfaatkan kekuatan yang sudah ada dan menciptakan inovasi-inovasi agar dapat menjadi destinasi wisata yang menarik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan  rencana aksi  meliputi pembangunan destinasi wisata yang meliputi pembangunan fisik dan penetapan kegiatan wisata, pengembangan SDM tim pengelola, fundraising, pembinaan kepada masyarakat dan pembentukan komunitas.

ABSTRACT

This article was written based on research aimed at developing strategies and action plans for the development of the Chili Tourism Village in Kabasiran Village by using a community based tourism approach. This Tourism Village development is an initiative of the local community in order to create new jobs in order to improve the economy and welfare of the local population. The study uses a qualitative approach with participatory action research methods. Work and discuss with the community to analyze the role and potential for obtaining a socio economic picture so that recommendations for future strategic steps can be formulated. From the results of the SWOT analysis conducted it can be concluded that a diversification strategy needs to be applied, because it is in the area of strength and threat. Namely by utilizing existing strengths and creating innovations so that they can become attractive tourist destination. The results of the study show that the action plan includes the construction of a tourist destination which includes the physical development and determination of tourism activities, the development of the human resources management team, fundraising, community development and community formation.
