Analisis Konsep Fisika Pada Permainan Tradisional Engklek Sebagai Bahan Ajar Pada Materi Usaha
Abstract
Traditional games are games that originate from a local community group and are passed down through generations as a form of local cultural wisdom. However, with the era of globalization becoming more widespread, traditional games are starting to be replaced by modern games that are more attractive and more integrated with technology. Therefore, a strategy is needed to enhance students' knowledge regarding the noble values of local cultural wisdom. By incorporating traditional games into school learning. This research aims to analyze the traditional game engklek, which can be used as a teaching material for Physics. Traditional games can be reduced and developed into teaching materials in schools. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature review. The data obtained will then be analyzed, validated, and selected, and subsequently organized based on scientific guidelines and interpreted into the physics concept of work. The research results show that the traditional game of engklek can be developed into teaching materials in the physics subject of work. The amount of work required to perform a jump in the game of engklek will be directly proportional to the mass of the engklek player, which is in accordance with the concept of work.
