Implementasi Deep Learning dalam Pembelajaran IPA Kelas 7 Materi Tata Surya

Wisnu Mursabdo

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the implementation of deep learning in 7th grade science lessons on the Solar System. This study took a sample of 7th grade students at Kanaan Christian Junior High School in Jakarta. The study was conducted in April-May 2025. This study is descriptive qualitative in nature with data collection through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The analysis used is descriptive analysis. The results show that students felt challenged, actively involved, and happy during the Solar System project. The active involvement of students began from the planning stage to the group presentation. Each student played a role in designing and creating the finished solar system product. In relation to the theory, students had to explore the profiles of the members of the solar system in greater depth, starting from the size, color, and characteristics of the members of the solar system, so that the resulting product was as similar as possible to the theory in the book. Overall, 85% of students were satisfied with the Solar System project. The involvement of all students from planning, implementation, execution, to presentation required students to be actively engaged in group dynamics. Planning to evaluation through the deep learning approach can provide students with a conscious, in-depth, and enjoyable learning experience.
