Analyzing the Learning Objectives of 7th Grade’s English Lesson Plan at SMPN 13 South Tangerang

Abstract


Abstract— This research aimed to investigate the types of learning objectives represented in the English Lesson Plan of 7th Grade at SMPN 13 South Tangerang using the “ABCD” model of writing specific learning objectives by Cruickshank. Five lesson plans were included in the analysis. A qualitative approach and descriptive analysis were used to conduct the research. From 5 lesson plan that designed for the 7th Grade that has been analyzed show that teacher was still lacking in making an effective lesson plan with the “ABCD” elements. And then, they tend to focus on cognitive assessment among the other elements such as affective, and psychomotor. Keywords— lesson plan, learning objectives
