THE USE OF SIMPLE PRESENT VERB AND NOUN IN STUDENTS DESCRIPTIVE TEXT

Abstract


The aims of this research were; 1) to find the common errors produced of using Simple Present Verb in students' descriptive text. The total error was 221 which the highest frequency of error happens in failure to put the right word in the text. It is the error of misformation which consists of 100 errors or 45.25%, in the second place is failure to omission which consists of 91 errors or 41.18%. The followed by failure to misordering which consists of 17 errors or 7.69%. The last failure is placed to addition which consists of 13 errors or 5.88%. 2) to find the analysis of grammatical error of using Nouns in writing descriptive text, the writer found the total error is 33. The highest frequency of error in Nouns happens in misformation which consists of 23 errors or 69.70%, on the second place is error in omission which consist of 8 errors or 24.24%. The followed failure is placed to addition which consist of 2 errors or 6.06%, and the last place is failure to misordering that there is no found error in misordering or 0%.
