THE INFLUENCE OF STUDENTS' PERCEPTION OF QUIZZIZZ APPLICATION METHOD AND READING INTEREST ON DESCRIPTIVE TEXT READING SKILLS (Survey on Private Vocational High School Students in Bekasi Regency)

Abstract


The purpose of the study was to prove 1. The influence of perception on the Quizizz Application method and reading interest together on descriptive text reading skills? 2. The influence of perception on the use of the Quizizz Application method on descriptive text reading skills? 3. The influence of reading interest on understanding descriptive text? The research method used was a survey method with a multiple linear regression statistical correlation approach with a sample of 83 people. Data was taken by being distributed to students via google form using a questionnaire that was systematically designed to measure students' perceptions of the Quizizz method and their reading interest. The results of the study showed: 1) There is a significant influence of students' perceptions of the Quizizz Application method and reading interest together on descriptive text reading skills in Private Vocational High School Students in Bekasi Regency. This is evidenced by the acquisition of Sig = 0.000 <0.05 and Fcount = 70.274. 2) There is a significant influence of students' perceptions of the Quizizz Application method on descriptive text reading skills in Private Vocational High School Students in Bekasi Regency. This is proven by the acquisition of Sig value = 0.000 < 0.05 and tcount = 3.761 > t_(table) = 1.988. 3) There is a significant influence of reading interest on descriptive text reading skills in Private Vocational High School Students in Bekasi Regency. This is proven by the acquisition of Sig value = 0.000. < 0.05 and tcount = 7.677 > t_(table) = 1.988.
