THE INFLUENCE OF PERCEPTIONS OF LEARNING MEDIA AND VOCABULARY MASTERY ON ENGLISH LISTENING SKILLS

Abstract


The goal of this research is to determine: 1) The influence of
perceptions of learning media and students' vocabulary mastery together
towards the English listening skill; 2) The influence of perceptions of learning
media towards the English listening skill; and 3) The influence of vocabulary
mastery towards the English listening skill. The method used in this research
is a survey method with regression analysis, and a sample of 85 students was
taken. The results of this research show that there is a significant influence of
perceptions of learning media and vocabulary mastery towards the English
listening skill. Suggestions for the next research: teachers can choose more
effective learning media for English listening skills, and further research is
needed by including other variables as more complete predictors.
