Pengaruh Kecerdasan Intelektual dan Kedisiplinan terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Bahasa Indonesia Siswa SMP

Abstract


The purpose of this research is to prove the joint influence of intellectual intelligence and discipline on the critical thinking skills in Indonesian language among junior high school students in Karawang Regency. The research method used is a survey with a correlational approach and multiple linear regression analysis on a sample of 85 students. The results showed that there is a significant joint influence of intellectual intelligence and discipline on critical thinking skills in Indonesian language (Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05; Fcount = 16.708). In addition, intellectual intelligence has a significant partial effect (Sig. = 0.005; tcount = 2.905) and discipline also has a significant partial effect (Sig. = 0.000; tcount = 4.161). Therefore, enhancing intellectual intelligence and discipline is important to improve students’ critical thinking skills.
